Floor lamp with circular base and stylized shaft. The Lievore Altherr Molina studio was founded in 1991 as a result of the professional association between Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. The practice of this creative collective is distinguished by a humanist approach that conceives design as a synthesis between formal clarity and functional adequacy. Their production is structured around the generation of proposals of great aesthetic purity, which emerge from the reflection on the conditions imposed by functionality, available technology and the context of use.
The studio's activity is developed through a transversal methodology that encompasses various areas of design: furniture, interior spaces, everyday objects and packaging systems. Throughout its trajectory, its projects have been the subject of international exhibitions and have received wide institutional and professional recognition. Among the awards that endorse their contribution is the Spanish National Design Award, granted in 1999 in recognition of the excellence of their work.
Based in Spain, where they carry out their creative, research and teaching work, Lievore, Altherr and Molina have conceived some of the most emblematic and highly valued collections of recent decades, including such significant lines as Catifa, Duna and Leaf, which have become benchmarks of contemporary design for their balance between formal innovation and functional vocation.
