Pair of sconces or wall lamps produced by the firm Bito Denmark during the 1970s, a period in which Scandinavian design decisively incorporated the influences of the so-called Space Age style. These pieces, made of lacquered metal, show an aesthetic approach typical of the Space Age, characterized by the use of futuristic geometric shapes, industrial materials and a strong experimental vocation.
The design, of concentric and angular construction, is visually reminiscent of an orbital structure or technological devices for space use, integrating a modular composition in layers that projects light indirectly.
