Licio Zanetti is a prominent figure in the art of Murano glass, celebrated for his innovative and masterful glass sculptures. His apprenticeship began at an early age under the guidance of his father, Oscar Zanetti, also a master glassmaker. In 1956, father and son founded Zanetti Vetreria Artistica, a workshop that quickly distinguished itself for the artistic quality of its sculptures, establishing itself as one of the most esteemed on the island of Murano. Today, Licio Zanetti's legacy lives on under the direction of his son Oscar, keeping Zanetti Vetreria Artistica as a benchmark of innovation and artistry within the Murano glass community. The studio's creations are highly valued by collectors and admired in public and private collections worldwide, recognized for their exquisite beauty and the unique design aesthetic that Licio Zanetti so masterfully established.
