Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) was an Italian architect and designer whose career spanned several decades. She began with a focus on architectural restoration and interior design. In her early years, she worked as art director for Casabella magazine and became a key figure in the Neo Liberty movement. Her collaborations with companies such as FontanaArte, Stilnovo and others are evidence of her versatility and innovative spirit. For his part, Piero Castiglioni (born 1944) is an Italian architect specializing in lighting design, combining art and science. His in-depth knowledge of light sources and creative approach resulted in outstanding projects, such as the Scintilla lighting system, designed for art galleries, retail and residential spaces. Castiglioni's lighting expertise complements Aulenti's architectural expertise, making their collaborations especially meaningful and recognized.
