The design of this lamp harmonizes with the conceptual line of Marc du Plantier, essential decorator of the international high bourgeoisie. His furniture, tapestries and curtains adorned luxurious mansions in Paris, Mexico City, Madrid and Beirut. Although Plantier's recognition did not come during his lifetime, the serene and luxurious majesty of his creations made him one of the benchmarks of contemporary design. The sofa in question is determined by pure lines and right angles. Raised on four stipe legs, it has a carved and gilded wood structure and fine greenish upholstery.
