Table lamp made in the 70's by Faïencerie de Charolles for Roche Bobois. The piece presents a shaft of sculptural character formed by a ceramic body enameled in a twisted spiral, with a satin metallic luster finish. The composition adopts dynamic forms that evoke the deconstructivist spirit of Frank Gehry and the parametric curves of Zaha Hadid, while maintaining the cozy feel of French handcrafted ceramics. It has E27 electrification with chain switch.
From the beginning, Roche Bobois focused on the distribution of the best French contemporary furniture specialists, strongly inspired by the Bauhaus, such as Minvielle, Steiner or Airborne, and also on the edition of the projects of famous designers such as Pierre Paulin or Marc Berthier. In the sixties it opened its catalog to Scandinavian design, and today it remains one of the most prominent international firms in the field of publishing and selective distribution of furniture.
