BID HISTORY

DESCRIPTION

Brutalist coffee table, 70's.
In perfect state of preservation.
Metal and glass.
Measurements: 120 x 75 x 40,5 cm.
Coffee table of brutalist style, which exemplifies the search for solidity and formal expressiveness characteristic of this movement. The piece is composed of a rectangular top of translucent glass, whose transparency allows to appreciate the structure in its totality and generates an interesting game of lights and reflections in the environment. This envelope is supported by two metal legs of clearly sculptural conception, conceived not only as functional elements but as true three-dimensional volumes that give the piece a sculptural presence in space.
The legs have an organic design, with irregular surfaces and contours that evoke natural shapes.
