DESCRIPTION
Postmodern design chair, 80s-90s.
In beech wood.
Unique piece.
Exhibits wear consistent with age and use.
Measurements: 74 x 61 x 52 cm.
Piece of great formal originality and sculptural balance, typical of the experimental spirit of the postmodern style. Its structure is made of tubular metal, with three uprights or legs that are joined at the top by a fourth tubular bar that acts as an openwork back, curving in the form of an arch and providing a fluid and graphic silhouette.
The triangular seat is made of ash wood. At the base, two legs rest on a curved wooden crossbar, while the third rests on a spherical foot, which introduces a playful note. The result is a chair that combines geometric rigor, asymmetries and visual play, with a markedly postmodern character, where industrial materials dialogue with the warmth and humor of the organic detail (wood).
