DESCRIPTION

Wall lamp, 1950s.
Perforated lacquered aluminum cones and brass body.
With two ball joints.

Measurements: 27x15x18 cm.
Mid-century wall lamp attributed to Giuseppe Ostuni, founder of Oluce in 1945, and author of bold lamps such as Ochetta. The wall lamp we show presents the characteristic features of his luminaires of the 50s. The piece features a double conical diffuser in white lacquered aluminum, perforated by a series of holes arranged in a circle that allow the light to filter, creating a warm luminous effect. The incorporation of two ball joints allows a very versatile adjustment of the orientation, facilitating different types of lighting, spot, ambient or directed, a very common solution in Ostuni's functional designs.
