French garden wall lamp. Style MATHIEU MATEGOT (Hungary, 1910 - France, 2001).
In rigitulle, green lacquered metal and brass.
Measurements: 18x17x9 cm.
Wall sconce for garden in the shape of basket in green rigitulle shaped brass. It uses the characteristic rigitulle of Mathieu Matégot: the thin perforated sheet that the designer elevated to a language of his own within the French post-war modernism. The perforation of the material allows the emission of warm, filtered light, generating an attractive play of light typical of Matégot's creations.
