Iconic "mushroom" table lamp by Metalarte, produced in the 1980s. This large-format piece stands out for its cylindrical base with a transparent finish, which provides a sensation of visual lightness and minimalism. The design is completed with a wide lampshade that overflows the perimeter of the base, creating a bold play of proportions and a soft and enveloping ambient lighting, characteristics that consolidated Metalarte as a benchmark in the industrial design of the time.

Metalarte is a pioneering Spanish firm in lighting design, considered an international benchmark for its ability to fuse traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation. Antonio Riera Clariana originally founded a metalwork workshop in Barcelona under the name "Metalls Arts". After the Spanish Civil War, the workshop was renamed "Metal Artes" and began to specialize exclusively in the manufacture of lamps around 1942. In the late 1950s, the brand adopted a more modern and innovative character, strongly influenced by the Scandinavian design of the time.
