DESCRIPTION
Art Deco stool made in Czechoslovakia around the 1930s.
Solid wood structure with upholstered seat and textile upholstery.
It presents a warm and homogeneous patina in accordance with its age and use.
Measurements: 59 × 70 × 35 cm; seat height: 42 cm.
Elegant stool representative of the Central European Art Deco style, characterized by a sculptural design of curved lines and careful attention to form and proportion. The piece stands out for its dynamic and balanced silhouette, in which the structure acquires a strong visual prominence.
The stool has a solid wood structure with arched legs and a curved upper frame, which gives visual lightness and stability to the whole. The seat has a padded cushion, upholstered in textile fabric, which introduces a soft and comfortable contrast to the solidity of the wood.
The wood retains an attractive patina, with a uniform aging that enhances the grain and quality of the material, while the upholstery shows a use in keeping with the age of the piece. The set maintains its structural integrity, fully preserving its original functionality.
A unique piece both for its design and its provenance, ideal as an auxiliary seat or decorative element. Especially appreciated by collectors of Art Deco furniture and Central European design of the first third of the 20th century, it combines sculptural character, functionality and timeless elegance.
