The one we now tender is a Scandinavian design lounge chair by Erik Ole Jørgensen, with a solid wood structure with clean and robust lines, upholstered in dark leather with thick and very comfortable cushions, high and inclined backrest with headrest type support, wide arms integrated into the structure and a matching footrest, transmitting a sober and elegant aesthetic typical of Danish design of the 60s-70s, where functionality, comfort and quality craftsmanship are combined.
Erik Ole Jørgensen was a Danish furniture designer, a leading figure of post-war Scandinavian design, known for creating armchairs and sofas of great comfort combined with wooden structures with clear and honest lines; his work is characterized by a balance between functionality, ergonomics and a sober aesthetic, and he collaborated with prestigious Danish manufacturers such as Oluf Jensen, contributing to define the style of Danish furniture of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, especially in the field of high quality lounge and domestic furniture.
