DESCRIPTION
Pair of bedside tables; ANDREW MARTIN, England, 1900.
Leather, chromed metal and galuchat.
They show wear.
Measurements: 62 x 70,5 x 63 cm (x2).
Pair of Andrew Martin bedside tables made of leather, chromed metal and sharkskin. Both have the same design based on the geometry and expressiveness of the materials.
Martin Waller is the founder of Andrew Martin and remains, to this day, the backbone of the brand. Originally founded in 1978 in Richmond, London, Andrew Martin moved in 1987 to Walton Street in South Kensington, where it soon became a true international design landmark.
The fabric and wallpaper designs created by Waller, inspired by cultures from around the world, laid the foundation for what would become known as Fusion Interiors. This integrative vision, combining global influences with a contemporary aesthetic, became one of the firm's hallmarks.
