This set of seven Italian planters from the second half of the 20th century captures with remarkable fidelity the spirit of Gabriella Crespi's design, a creator who knew how to elevate natural materials through a refined sense of contrast. These pieces reproduce the "boho-luxe" aesthetic characteristic of the 1970s, where the handcrafted and the sophisticated coexist in balance.
The strength of the ensemble lies in the duality between the warm and organic rolled rattan and the shiny and noble brass tops, a formal dialogue that refers directly to the iconic language of series such as Rising Sun. The spiral construction, in addition to being decorative, provides structural solidity and reveals a careful basketry technique.
The variety of formats makes it possible to compose dynamic groupings with great sculptural presence, providing texture, rhythm and a natural elegance much sought after by interior designers today.
