BID HISTORY

DESCRIPTION

Porthole style mirror. Italy, 60's.
Bamboo and rattan.
As an original vintage item, it shows signs of use typical of its age.
Measurements: 75 cm. (diameter)

Round mirror of nautical inspiration, close to the porthole aesthetics so characteristic of the Italian design of the 60s and 70s. The frame is made of curved and assembled bamboo, with visible joint details that reinforce its handcrafted character and its material authenticity.

The warmth of the bamboo and its honey tone bring visual lightness and natural texture, making it a particularly appreciated piece within the Mediterranean mid-century imaginary. Its simple and balanced design allows it to be integrated in contemporary interiors as well as in boho, coastal or vintage environments.
