Measurements: 86 x 45 x 41 cm.
Pair of chairs representative of the Elizabethan taste, style that dominated the Spanish furniture during the reign of Isabel II and that is characterized by the reinterpretation of rococo models with abundant curvilinear decoration. They feature openwork backrest with a sinuous profile with rocaille motifs and cabriole legs topped with delicate scrolls, elements that add dynamism and elegance to the ensemble.
The seat has petit-point upholstery with floral decoration, a craft technique that was highly appreciated in the 19th century for its decorative richness, and is filled with springs, a solution that improved comfort and was widely used in the bourgeois furniture of the time.
