Pair of vintage wall sconces model Balance C-1550 produced by RAAK Amsterdam and designed by French architect Bertrand Balas in the 1970s. These sculptural wall sconces are made of textured metal with a gold finish and feature a striking geometric relief. The overlapping curved shapes create a beautiful play of light and shadow, producing warm, atmospheric indirect lighting when lit. The design reflects the experimental lighting aesthetic of the 1970s and the architectural approach typical of Bertrand Balas' work.
