The design of this umbrella stand edited by Caimi is characterized by the use of openwork metal as a structural and decorative resource. This is a formal solution that refers to the language developed by Mathieu Matégot, a pioneer in the use of perforated sheet metal and worked metal in mid-20th century European design. Its vibrant color and industrially inspired functional aesthetics make it a representative piece of Italian utilitarian design of the 1980s, where practicality and graphic character are combined with great efficiency.
