Dining table with round top, made of solid oak wood and produced by Muebles Casablancas in Barcelona during the 1970s. A piece that stands out for the honesty of its materials and the clarity of its formal language.

The design is resolved with great balance through a central structure in which the four legs converge on a cross-shaped base, generating a sense of visual lightness without sacrificing stability. Its refined aesthetic responds to the principles of rationalism, where each element fulfills a precise function within the whole.

The table incorporates an extensible system that allows to extend its surface of use, adapting easily to different needs and contexts, from a daily use to larger meetings, always maintaining the aesthetic coherence of the design.

The firm Muebles Casablancas was a key player in the modernization of domestic interior design in Spain from the 1950s onwards, introducing proposals based on modularity, functionality and the use of natural woods. His production, especially relevant between the 1960s and 1970s, was consolidated as a benchmark for sober and timeless design, in parallel with his involvement in the dissemination of design through institutions such as the FAD and the academic world.

A versatile and elegant table completely restored, representative of the best Spanish design of the mid-twentieth century, ideal for both contemporary interiors and spaces with vintage sensibility.
