These chests of drawers present a clearly mid century modern design, reinterpreted in a more decorative and sophisticated way, with a structure of straight and geometric lines raised on slanted and stylized legs typical of the 50s and 60s, but whose finishes bring them closer to the Regency style (or Hollywood Regency), since the contrast between the black lacquer and the golden lines in polished brass introduces a luxurious, glamorous and highly decorative character. Thus, while the base responds to the balance, functionality and simplicity of the mid-century, the ornamental geometric pattern, the shine and the material richness bring a more theatrical and elegant dimension typical of Regency, resulting in pieces that combine structural minimalism with a strong visual impact.
