Mario Marenco was educated at the University of Naples. Between 1957 and 1960 he won five research awards at the universities of Stockholm and Chicago. In 1960 he founded the DEWG studio in Rome: community buildings. From 1970 he began designing for Arflex, Artemide, Bernini, B&B, Comfortline. In 1982 he collaborated with FIAT, LANCIA and ALFA ROMEO and later with Seiberling and Firestone.
