Coffee table designed by Hans J. Wegner, one of the most relevant Danish cabinetmakers in the diffusion of Scandinavian modern design. It is the rare extended version of the JH575 model, characterized by its elongated top, refined structure and great functionality, within the sober and refined language of Danish design of the mid-twentieth century.

The piece stands out for its reversible solution, which makes it possible to alternate between the warmth of wood and the practicality of the Formica surface. Wegner here combines formal elegance and everyday use, with a design of clean lines, balanced proportions and a construction that attaches great importance to structural detail.

Hans J. Wegner is one of the key figures in Danish modern design. Trained as a cabinetmaker and architect, he developed an oeuvre focused on constructive clarity, the nobility of materials and the adaptation of furniture to human use. Famous especially for his chairs, he collaborated with firms such as Johannes Hansen, Carl Hansen & Søn, Fritz Hansen and PP Møbler. His work is represented in institutions such as the Designmuseum Danmark, the MoMA in New York, the Vitra Design Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
