BID HISTORY

DESCRIPTION

Mid-Century floor lamp, 40's-50's.
Brass tripod base and wooden shaft with brass details.
Cylindrical lampshade in fabric.
Exhibits sligthly wear consistent with age and use.
Measurements: 150 cm (foot height); 188 cm (total height); 43 x 60 cm (lampshade).

This floor lamp stands out for the verticality of the dark wood shaft and the sobriety of its structure, animated only by the brass elements that mark the transition between the different sections. The three-legged base, slender and balanced, provides stability without detracting from the visual lightness of the whole.

The large cylindrical fabric shade completes the composition with a serene and timeless presence. With its balance of wood, brass and clean lines, it is a representative example of mid-20th century lighting design, suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
