Series C chest of drawers designed by Jordi Casablancas around 1970, made of oak wood. The piece has a sober and orderly front composition, with two upper drawers and six larger drawers, resolved by integrated semicircular handles that provide graphic rhythm without altering the cleanliness of the design. The warmth of the oak, the precision of the proportions and the absence of superfluous ornamentation give rise to a functional, versatile and elegantly discreet piece.

Jordi Casablancas i Muntañola was part of the generation that promoted the renewal of Spanish design in the second half of the 20th century, incorporating principles of Scandinavian and modern design without abandoning the link with natural materials and artisanal techniques. In addition to furniture, he developed interior design projects and contributed to the dissemination and teaching of design as a teacher and member of the FAD. Among his most outstanding pieces are the S 6 chair -1966-, the changing table -1970- and the S 5 armchair -1979-.
