Sideboard designed by Jordi Casablancas around 1970, made of oak wood. The front is organized by a balanced combination of doors, drawers and open compartments, which provides visual rhythm and a large storage capacity without losing compositional lightness.

Its design responds to a sober and rational aesthetic, characteristic of Spanish furniture from the late sixties and early seventies. The warmth of natural wood is combined with refined lines, cylindrical handles and a precise construction, resulting in a functional, versatile and discreetly elegant piece.

Jordi Casablancas i Muntañola was part of the generation that promoted the modernization of Spanish furniture in the second half of the 20th century, incorporating principles of Scandinavian design and the modern movement without abandoning the link with natural materials and artisanal techniques. In addition to furniture, he developed interior design projects and contributed to the dissemination and teaching of design as a teacher and member of the FAD. Among his most outstanding pieces are the S 6 chair -1966-, the changing table -1970- and the S 5 armchair -1979-.
