The marquetry in various veneers, the cylindrical shape, and the 360° rotating door place this bar cabinet in the tradition of the famous “Totem Bar” designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia, one of the most iconic pieces of Italian design from the late 1970s. Its structure transforms a functional piece of furniture into a sculptural form, while the marquetry—crafted from various wood veneers—creates an abstract composition of curves and geometric planes in warm tones, characteristic of Offredi’s refined decorative style. The interior, organized with circular glass shelves featuring gold-tone metal accents, is marked by understated black-lacquered exterior hallmarks and highlights the attention to detail in the finishes. The top panel, crowned by a raised glass top, lends visual lightness and accentuates the sophisticated character of a piece designed to become the focal point of the space.
