This sideboard combines a structure with clean lines and horizontal proportions—typical of Mid-Century-inspired furniture—with a much more emphatic decorative treatment. The rounded corners, cylindrical legs, and continuous profile of the top lend a sense of visual lightness to the piece, while the metal handles introduce a functional and geometric counterpoint.

The front panel is the focal point of the piece, featuring a composition of veneers in various shades arranged in bands, circular sections, arches, and radial patterns. This work draws on both the tradition of decorative marquetry and certain geometric motifs derived from Art Deco, reinterpreted here with an intense palette of reds, blues, oranges, and blacks. The result combines the structural simplicity of mid-20th-century design with a surface that has a strong graphic presence, transforming the piece of furniture into a particularly decorative work of art.
