The table features a circular top and a central leg, while the chairs stand out for their characteristic wraparound tubular frame and circular seat. Crafted from molded plastic, the set reflects Kartell’s experimentation with polymers and industrial processes, as well as the postmodern aesthetic that defined much of late 20th-century Italian design.
The combination of two designs by key designers—Philippe Starck and Anna Castelli Ferrieri—results in a set with a distinct personality, in which geometry, functionality, and color come together in a composition representative of Italian furniture from the 1980s and 1990s.
