Pair of square-based planters, made of brown-tinted smoked Plexiglas, with a structure composed of vertical chrome-plated metal profiles. Their construction, based on the combination of translucent surfaces and linear metal elements, reflects a distinctly geometric and rationalist design language. The use of tinted Plexiglas and chrome, together with the clean lines of the forms, allows these pieces to be linked to certain trends in European design from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly the futuristic and Space Age aesthetics, which incorporated synthetic materials and industrial finishes into furniture and the decorative arts.
