Measurements: 60 cm. high.
A lady with harmonic features and half-closed eyelids has her hair gathered and adorned with brooches. The bust rests on a crenellated base. Galileo Pochini was an Italian sculptor celebrated for his work in finely carved marble and alabaster. He produced mainly female portraits of neoclassical inspiration, although he was already anticipating some fin-de-siècle solutions.
