DESCRIPTION
Italian school of the sixteenth century, inspired by models of MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI (Caprese, 1475-Rome, 1564).
Bronze sculpture on ancient marble and onyx base.
It presents fractures and adhered parts.
Measurements: 19 x 6 x 6 cm.
This male bust drinks from Italian Renaissance models: Michelangelo Buonarroti or Donatello (of the latter, the prophet Habakkuk) could be the source of inspiration for the sculptor. It is a realistic figure in whose face we can see the decrepitude and inner agony of the character.
