DESCRIPTION
Pair of morillos of chimney, XVIII century.
In patinated bronze.
Measurements: 105 x 60 x 35 cm.
Morillos of chimney, realized in bronze, of rococo epoch and historicist style that combine elements of Renaissance and baroque inspiration. Two Cupids worked in round bulk, with curled hair and a quiver hanging on their sides, finish off the two morillos. The lower part, fretworked, alternates foliate motifs based on tornapuntas with masks of Dionysus and lions, along with amorcillos and satyrs whose hybrid bodies adorn the sides. Fretwork and floral festoons complete the decoration.
