Being one of the symbols of the tarot, where it is related to the water element and the earth element, the crab has acquired great symbolism throughout history. Living in the two elements, water and earth, the crab indicates that the human being must learn to live with his feet on the ground, entering the waters of the unconscious, but without getting lost in it, to find what he is looking for and return to his place, the earth. On the other hand, for the inhabitants of Ancient Egypt, the crab was a symbol of change. Such transformation means to eliminate the part of our past that is no longer useful in our mind. In turn, the crab conveys the idea that it has managed to get out of the swamp, assimilating it with the possible slavery of the unconscious.
