DESCRIPTION
Relief from Northern Europe, late 19th century-early 20th century.
"Putti musicians".
In carved wood.
It presents fractures.
Measurements: 15 x 17 x 3 cm.
High relief in wood representing a couple of putti musicians with curly hair. One of them plays the flute and the other holds an open book with scores. The cloths of both are billowing, giving dynamism to the composition. The chiaroscuro plays with the drapery. Other instruments (a tambourine, another flute) rest next to them, as well as a wreath of flowers and a group of birds. The figures are carved in high relief, showing themselves almost exempt. It follows classical models.
