The sculpture that we now bid, which carefully combines bluing bronze for the skin of the protagonist with gilded bronze for the details of her clothing, could be understood as a sculpture in contemporary key of the orientalist movement. The young woman, with a synthesized face, is distinguished by her defined silhouette, whose stylized pattern is reinforced by the pitcher she holds on her head, as well as by the rings on her neck and her large hoop earrings. Her firm breasts add sensuality and youthfulness to her figure.
