In patinated bronze.
Measurements: 18 x 15,5 cm.
Pair of candlesticks of French invoice and Napoleon III period. They consist of a circular base decorated with fretwork of scales on which sits a base decorated with satyr masks and horns of plenty, which starts a shaft formed by molded sections, mixtilinear profile, and completely decorated with acanthus leaves, palmettes, masks and other foliated elements. These bronzes show the historicism prevailing in the decorative arts during the Second Empire.
