Dating from the late 19th century, this vase is one of the artist's most remarkable pieces, exemplifying the organic aesthetic and creative freedom of Art Nouveau. Its body is beautifully embellished with double handles imitating oak branches, flanked by two putti on the sides, underscoring the mastery of his work.
Henri Huppé was a French sculptor known for his works in a marked Art Nouveau style. His artistic career was consolidated with the regular exhibition of his figures in the prestigious Paris Salons from 1874 onwards.
