Jean Garnier, better known as J. Garnier, was a French sculptor. Garnier worked during the Art Nouveau period, noted for his bronze sculptures and decorative vessels. Garnier exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, winning an honorable mention in 1892. His works captured human figures in everyday activities, such as dancers and workers, with a remarkable ability to depict movement and realism. Among his best-known pieces are "La Gigue" and "Le Chant de la Glaneuse," which exemplify his focus on rural and allegorical subjects. Garnier also produced busts and decorative vases in bronze, reflecting the aesthetics of the period.
