This Art Nouveau jug with a bulbous body presents a very particular design: its neck is modeled as a male face crowned by a stylized hat with three wings. The piece is completed with a relief that includes a stretched nymph and profuse vegetal ornaments, integrating fantasy and nature.
Ignaz Mansch was an Austrian sculptor active in the Art Nouveau period.
