Randy Cooper's shadow sculptures, created in wire mesh to cast intricate shadows on the wall, are handmade with simple tools and no molds. After working successfully with clay, cast stone and bronze, Cooper began creating mesmerizing and magical sculptures in wire mesh. Each piece of "shadow sculpture" (forms created in wire mesh that cast shadows on the wall) is unique. The amazing thing about his works is that, when illuminated by a light source, the shadows sometimes show more detail than the sculpture itself.
