This large vase is a clear representative of the aesthetic and technical excellence of the Art Nouveau style. The piece stands out for its rich floral decoration, both in round and relief, including iris and poppies.
Its creator, François-Charles de Franoz, was a French sculptor trained by Alexandre-Victor Lequien. De Franoz was a regular exhibitor at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1889 and 1904.
