The design of this Art Deco style vase is purely organic: it has two lateral handles formed by superimposed leaves and a total decoration in relief of vegetal and floral forms.

Its creator, Jean-Maurice Petizon (known as "Petiz"), was a sculptor who, after being the descendant of a saga of miners, founded his own foundry in Paris around 1890. Petiz created numerous pieces in the purest Art Nouveau style and distinguished himself by being his own foundryman, signing all his works with his alias.
