"Menina".
Bronze sculpture. Exemplary 6/9.

Faustino Gil Aizkorbe, Aizkorbe for the artistic world, developed his formation in the School of Fine Arts of Pamplona, but it will be the continuous experimentation and the study of the teachers that he admires, among which are the artists of the School of Basque Sculpture, what will shape his artistic personality. Aizkorbe held his first exhibition, still of painting, in 1975, at the Palacio Valle Santoro in Sangüesa. The following year he exhibited his sculptural work in the Berthee Hall in Pamplona, and participated in the II Biennial of Marbella. Since then he has continued exhibiting and taking part in fairs, contests and official exhibitions all over Spain, as well as in Bayonne (France). In 1990 he took the definitive international leap and exhibited in Germany and Hong Kong, and the following year he also exhibited in Japan, South Korea and Venezuela, as well as participating in the Art Chicago fair. From then on, his exhibitions abroad will be frequent, in places as outstanding as the Contemporary Sculpture Center in Tokyo. Throughout his career, Aixkorbe has been awarded First Prizes in the IV Larraona Art Contest (1974), the IV International Sculpture Contest of Pollença (1987), the Caja de Ahorros de Toledo (1991), the Poster Contest of San Fermín in Pamplona (1995) and the City of Aoiz (1997), as well as the Rotary Club Award (1991). Faustino Aizkorbe is currently represented at the Contemporary Sculpture Center in Tokyo, the Jag Art Center in Seoul, the Museum of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, the Museum of Modern Art of Pollença in Palma de Mallorca, the Museum of Calahorra in La Rioja, the Museum of Contemporary Sculpture in Aracena, Huelva, the Museum of Navarra and the Scultura Art Centre International in Nice, France. It is also present in institutions such as Maredsous Abbey in Belgium, Ampleforth College in England, the Auditorium of La Coruña, the City Councils of Aoiz, Madrid, Olloqui, Pamplona and San Javier, the collections of Banco Atlántico de Madrid, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya de and Banco Hispanoamericano de Tokyo and Schwabische Bank of Stuttgart, among many others. It also has public installations in Spain, Germany and the United States.
