Pilar Beltrán Laho) studied Fine Arts at the Faculty of San Carlos (Valencia). After finishing her degree she moved to Poland to take a postgraduate course at the Sculpture Department of the Akademia Sztuk Pieknych in Warsaw and later to England, where she lived for five years. While studying for her doctorate at the Winchester School of Art, she received scholarships from the Cañada Blanch Foundation, the Dávalos Flétcher Foundation and the University of Southampton. During her stay in the UK she taught at the Winchester School of Art and Hastings College of Art. She currently lives and works in Valencia. From the beginning his work has been multidisciplinary; sculptures, photographic series, videos and installations are combined looking for the most appropriate language in each project.
