Curro Ulzurrun is a sculptor from Madrid known for his "delicate constructions" that translate, almost, a poetry of the fragile, playing with space and the combination of textures.
His work has been exhibited in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Santiago, Japan, Mexico D.F., ARCO'97, Buenos Aires, etc. His work is kept in important private collections and institutions such as the Contemporary Art Collection of the City Council of Alcobendas (Madrid), that of the Diputación General de Aragón in Zaragoza, the Fundación La CAixa in Barcelona, the Museo de Bellas Artes de Álava in Vitoria, the Mansaku Chokoku no Mori Museum in Akita-Ken, Japan, etc.
