MUSIKA 05 is a hybrid work in which art, music and functional object coexist in the same body. Starting with a Californian CE-705 jazz guitar, with a pine top and maple body, Kastro transforms the instrument into a unique sculptural piece through a meticulous intervention with acrylics, resin and his emblematic Kriatures. The white surface of the guitar becomes a living territory, inhabited by dozens of small figures that seem to move, meet and dialogue with each other. The Kriatures, the unmistakable hallmark of Kastro's visual universe, symbolize diversity, human connection and collective energy. In this work, they expand over the body of the instrument as if the music had summoned them: a vibrant multitude that turns the guitar into an ecosystem of color, rhythm and movement.
The contrast between the classical elegance of the jazz guitar and the playful expressiveness of the Kriatures generates a particularly powerful tension. MUSIKA 05 does not renounce its original nature: it is a 100% functional, playable and fully operational guitar, but at the same time it acquires the condition of a contemporary work of art, located on the border between sculpture, object painting and intervened design. The piece has been part of exhibitions in relevant spaces such as the Museo Cromática in Toledo and El Silo de Hortaleza, in Madrid, reinforcing its character as a singular work within Kastro's artistic production.
Kastro, a multidisciplinary artist with a career marked by the exploration of new media, develops in the Kriatures collection a universe of connected characters, different but belonging to the same visual community. Each Kriature represents a presence, a possible story, an individual within a large emotional network. In MUSIKA 05, this language merges with music and turns the instrument into a clear metaphor: each note, like each figure, is part of a larger composition.

Kastro, a design teacher for more than 20 years for leading Spanish companies, focuses his work on technological and artistic creations of an avant-garde nature. His work, self-taught, evolves from influences of abstract expressionism, tachism and informalism towards a contemporary vision of abstract art. A constant researcher of materials, textures and structures, he creates pieces intended to convey unique emotions. In 2018 he founded Maculae, a multidisciplinary collective aimed at sharing artistic experiences and enriching the national art scene. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, and his work is present in more than 40 countries.
