He studied at La Llontja in Barcelona and was a student of Frédéric Mares, Jaume Otero, Antoni Parera, and Enric Monjo, with whom he worked as an assistant for ten years. One of his most notable works is “Jesús del Gran Poder” at the Church of San Agustín in Barcelona. He was named an honorary member of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona, an organization with which he participated in numerous exhibitions.
