Member of the Royal Photographic Society. Lourdes Casas holds a Diploma in Photography from PIC.A International School of Alcobendas and has completed the itinerary of Photographic Creation and Project Development at Lens School of Visual Arts in addition to various specialization workshops. Through photography she explores emotions and builds sincere narratives through images that place us in common places. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions, he has published several photobooks and maintains an active participation in the Real Sociedad Fotográfica de Madrid and the Aula de Fotografía de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Alcalá. His work brings together his two passions: travel to remote places and author photography. Her publications are accompanied by brief texts by the author. In her latest work: Mexico. Colores de la vida y la muerte, the author explores the deep meanings of color in Mexican culture and in the celebration of the Day of the Dead. In previous works: Insomnio 43°32?14??N 7°02?35??W, deals with loneliness and despair; "Donde no hay respuestas" focuses on family memory and in "La Espera" she reflects on fear, insecurity and doubts in the face of an announced end.
