Member of the Royal Photographic Society. Jorge Omeñaca is an artist specialized in Fine Art photography for decoration. He sells his work printed in limited series through online and physical galleries. He also works on custom commissions that he carries out with his own method in which he combines photography with narrative. In recent years he has participated in exhibitions in galleries and art fairs in Madrid, Zaragoza, Milan, Rome and Liege. In his artistic proposal he mixes different techniques that include from digital post-production, to collage or the use of artificial intelligence to achieve a work that is between the abstract and the figurative, the photographic and the pictorial. In his style, he shows a clear preference for "detail" photography (especially of nature), and in which aesthetics is as important as the symbol or metaphor they pose. Apart from artistic photography, he works on documentary and essay photography projects, which he has materialized both in exhibition and photo-book formats: Gamopolis (2023), and De Memoris (2022). He has been trained for more than a decade in photography schools such as Spectrum (Zaragoza), Blanco y Negro, Photo Love and La Máquina (Madrid); in classical drawing and painting at Academia Cañada (Zaragoza); as well as in creative writing at Escuela de Escritores and Fuentetaja (Madrid). He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Zaragoza. Currently, he combines his artistic activity with that of project manager for independent artists and for the contemporary art gallery Flecha.
